I was delighted with the turn out at the preview night for my solo show at the Clydebank Museum and Art Gallery. With over fifty guests and seven paintings sold, it was a very successful evening. A huge thanks to Trish and her team for hanging the exhibition and for making everyone feel welcome. The show runs until the 26th April so plenty of time to browse.
Solo exhibition, 'A Brush with the Sea' at the Clydebank Museum and Art Gallery. you may have been one of the 10.000 people that visited the Jolomo retrospective last year in this Art Gallery! My exhibition opens to the public on the 24th of January and runs until mid March.
This exhibition in inspired by many trips to Orkney and my fascination with the wild seas, boats that sail these waters and the isolated beaches of the west coast. If you would like an invite to the private view on the evening of the 23rd please contact me firstname.lastname@example.org
Delighted to have been elected as Vice President of Glasgow Society of Women Artists. Originally established in 1882 by eight of the first women students at the Glasgow School of Art, the GLASGOW SOCIETY OF LADY ARTISTS flourished until 1971 when sadly it was disbanded due to financial pressures. However it was revived in 1975 as the GLASGOW SOCIETY OF WOMEN ARTISTS and currently enjoys a membership of around 151 artists and 57 lay members.
